Another day, another dildo. And this one comes courtesy from a new company that I have just recently started to work with, and it’s exciting, as it’s one of the first dedicated LGBT toy stores we’ve worked with. May this continue, I say.

Anyway, Clone Zone are a UK based retailer specialising in products for the gay community, and they cater for every taste – with a vast selection of toys, lubes and clothing. Delivery is discreet, and free when you spend £25. You can even ‘click and collect’ – so you can place the order online and then pick it up from one of their stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Truth be told, I don’t know why I waited so long to make contact with Clone Zone, but when I eventually did, they were more than happy to send a little box of goodies. Included inside our package were 2 items from their brand new in-house brand Titus – that offer a range of dildos and plugs in both TPR and Silicone. I received one of their new Silicone dildos to review.

The Titus Silicone Series Dildo was sent to me free of charge by Clone Zone in exchange for my honest review.

First Impressions

The Titus brand of products are packaged simply, with basic plastic clamshell packaging – but thankfully the nice kind, and not the type you have to take a chainsaw too. The dildo is the largest of the 3 silicone varieties on offer, yet it still feels pretty reasonable in hand. It’s made from a modestly firm silicone, but there is still a bit of give and squish and flexibility. It stands at 8 inches tall and has an insertable length of 6 inches. In hand, it feels chunky, but the shaft has a fairly even girth of 5.5 inches throughout.

As ‘realistic’ details go, it’s fairly basic. There are some veins on the shaft, and there is a pronounced coronal ridge around the tip, which is tapered slightly. Towards the base of the shaft, the balls feature some basic wrinkling and detail. The suction cup is strong and holds pretty firmly on all of the surfaces that I tried it on. In fact, it was a little difficult to remove now and again. The silicone has a slight ‘drag’ to it, meaning lots of lube is essential. I have to admit, it’s not the ‘prettiest’ dildo i’ve ever seen, but you know, it’s not always about looks – this is another silicone dildo that’s under £25.

In Use

Whilst 5.5 inches isn’t massive in the grand scheme of things, it’s still a size i’m not quite ready to tackle from the get go, I still feel the need to do at least a bit of a warm up before I start, although only a small one. After getting myself ready by taking a ride on a rainbow, I was ready to move on and take the Titus for a spin. I lubed it up and got into position.

As you insert the tip, there is a very mild ‘pop’ thanks to the pronounced glans, and then it immediately gives over to the thick shaft. Whilst it’s not massive, the firmness of the silicone does make it feel slightly bigger than it is, but it was still an easy, comfortable experience. Before long, I was already ‘balls deep’. I took a few moments just to enjoy the full sensation. I lay on my back for a few moments and just slowly thrusted my hips, in small motions – just enough to manipulate the dildo slightly, and I could feel it pressing firmly against my prostate.

Once I was ready, I dug out the LoveArc and slapped the Titus down, ready for a ride. As I rode it cowboy style, it was hitting all of the right spots inside. With lots of lube, thrusting was easy and the moderate vein detailing on the shaft provided an extra little level of pleasure. And that’s why I like about this dildo – sure, it’s not the prettiest – but it works well – and that’s all I really ask of my dildos. I mean, sure – the prettier dildos are nicer to take photos of, but at the end of the day, all I really want is my fake cock to pound me firmly and bring me to orgasmic bliss – which the Titus does with almost modest ease.

The Titus Silicone is only available in black, which is actually a great choice, considered. Now before I play anally, I like to douche – it’s a personal preference, just because I want that added peace of mind that things will be relatively clean during play. However, in the event that things aren’t as clean as you would like, the black silicone is fairly good at ‘hiding’ any little accidents. The downside, however, is that black silicone shows up the dust and fluff so much easier than most other colours, making it an absolute bugger to take photos of for reviews. However, I suspect for the large majority of you, that’s not an issue. #FirstWorldBloggerProblems.

Clean-up and Maintenance

I always recommend silicone because it’s so easy and versatile to care for – even the most laziest of you out there can maintain a silicone toy with minimal effort. Put it in the dishwasher, rinse it with water and toy cleaner, boil it, bleach it… Honestly, it couldn’t be simpler. Once you’ve cleaned your toy by your preferred method, I would definitely suggest keep it inside it’s packaging, to try and reduce the dust and hair. As it is, i’ve just taken it out of the package again for some measurements, and for some reason, Elphie’s hair seems to be drawn to it. Pugs and Sex Toys definitely do not mix.

Summary

Sometimes, simple is good. And that’s what we have here – The Titus Silicone 8 inch dildo is a no-frills affair, but it works and it hits the spot – and I like that. When you just want to slap it down and ride away, you can just go for it. It’s got enough texture to keep things interesting, and it’s at a size that most people should find pretty satisfying. The suction cup is strong and sturdy, making hands free play a real breeze. And it’s a bargain at just £22.99. With silicone becoming more and more affordable these days, there really is no excuse for not having one in your arse(nal).

IF I had to be a little picky, and this comes from a place of love – I just wish the silicone was just a little softer, and maybe a bit ‘smoother’. But really, for the price, you really can’t complain. It does the job, and is perfect for those who are on a budget, and want something that’s body safe and affordable. Kudos Clone Zone.

Where To Buy

You can buy the Titus in store, or online for £22.99 from Clone Zone Direct.

It’s also available in a 6 inch and 7.5 inch version respectively.
