Here at The Big Gay Review, we love a good dildo. How do you make a dildo even better? Make it vibrate! OK, that’s a bit of a generalisation, as not everyone likes vibrations, but for those that do – a vibrating dildo can be pretty fun.
Last year, I had the opportunity to work with Clonezone for the very first time. We tried out a couple of products from their in-house brand TITUS (including a dildo and a butt plug). For what they were, the products were pretty well made and reasonably priced. I recently discovered that they had launched a couple of dual density dildos, as well as some vibrating models. I added them to my sex toy wishlist, and aimed to have them reviewed this year.
A few days later, I got a message from Clonezone, who confirmed a little package was on it’s way to me. And sure enough, a few days later, a box of cock arrived. I mean, who doesn’t love a box of cock? Inside was one of the dual density dildos (review coming soon) and this; the focus of today’s review. The TITUS Wireless: 10 Function Vibrating Silicone Dildo. So without further ado, let’s find out how we did with it, eh?

First Impressions
The packaging for the TITUS Wireless is fairly inoffensive. It’s a plain black box with a clear window, so you can see the dildo tucked away inside. Inside the box, you’ll find the dildo, a remote control and 2 batteries for the remote. The dildo itself requires 2 x AA batteries (which are sadly not included). It has a suction cup base which unscrews, and this is where you place the 2 batteries. The TITUS Wireless is waterproof, so you need to make sure you screw it tight shut, to create the waterproof seal.
The dildo measures in at 8 inches of overall length; with just over 7 inches being insertable. The shaft has a circumference of around 5.2 inches along the entire length. The shaft is ABS plastic, coated in a thin layer of silicone. The tip of the dildo is just silicone, and has a little bit of squish and flex. For the most part though, the shaft is very firm with no give.
There is a moderately detailed set of balls at the bottom, and the power button is located here. You can operate the dildo either by pressing and holding this button; or by remote control. The remote requires 1 x 23A battery (although they give you 2, so you have a spare). Simply slide of the back cover, pop in the battery and then you are good to go. The remote is NOT waterproof, so be careful when using it. There are 10 modes of vibration; 3 constant speeds and 7 patterns. Simply pressing the button on the remote (or base of the shaft) will cycle through them.
In Use
I’ve certainly learnt a few things since getting this toy. When it first arrived, I was eager to see how it looked and felt. I guess I hadn’t paid attention to the ad copy when I saw it – I didn’t realise it was a BATTERY operated vibrator. At this point, my heart sank. I honestly don’t know why it’s not rechargeable. You can produce some amazing rechargeable vibrating dildos; just look at the Nude Impressions (and it was relatively cheap too!). But I still had hopes that it might not be all bad. So I raided the cupboard under the stairs for some batteries.
The base of the TITUS Wireless has a suction cup, which also acts as the cover for the battery compartment. You need to unscrew that to put the batteries in. Inside the compartment, there is a slip of paper, like you sometimes see in bullet vibrators. I strongly urge that you remove this, as once you put the batteries in, they become almost impossible to get out. Like, I was banging this thing on the side of a glass table to try and shift them. It made me break out in a sweat, and I hadn’t even used the damn thing.
Anyhow, once the batteries were in, I turned it on. The vibrator buzzes into life (and I mean, buzzes). I was quite surprised that despite the buzziness, the vibrations were mild. They weren’t ‘strong’ but they weren’t completely weak either. OK, I thought to myself. Perhaps this won’t be all that bad. I pressed the button to cycle onto the next speed/pattern, and to my horror, the intensity went DOWN. A third press sent it down further still. This was not good. Firstly, who does that? Most of us like to start low and build up – not the other way round! Secondly, that meant that the first setting was as good as it was going to get. Sigh…
Still, I have to remember this isn’t supposed to be some ‘luxury’ powerhouse of a vibrator – it’s a dildo that vibrates. Maybe once i’ve gotten down to using it, it might still be a fun ride. There was only going to be one way to find out. On the few occasions i’ve taken the TITUS Wireless out for a spin, i’ve slapped it onto my trusty LoveArc. The suction cup is fairly solid and most surfaces I stuck it to, it held very well.
With a good coating of Sliquid Sassy (review coming soon); I got into position and began to slide onto the shaft. The tip of the dildo is curved upwards slightly – it’s a rather unusual design choice as i’ve never seen a real penis where it’s just the tip that curves. But i’m assuming this is supposed to be a good thing once it’s inserted. The modest circumference of just over 5 inches meant I was pretty much able to take this without any warm up at all. And it inserted fairly easily. Once inside though, the very firm shaft is noticeable. Compared to all my other dildos, which are all soft and squishy, this one feels a little disarming at first. I’m used to there being a bit of ‘give’. But once you get used to it, it’s not too bad and was modestly comfortable.
Once I was ready, I reached for the remote and switched it on. Thankfully, you don’t have to do any fancy ‘pairing’ with the dildo and remote; it just works right out of the box. As I pressed the button, the TITUS Wireless buzzed into life. The vibrations to seem to be more focused towards the tip, and that slight curve was indeed a good thing, as it meant it was firmly massaging the prostate. Whilst the vibrations are on the buzzier side, on the higher setting, it didn’t feel too bad. It was…nice. It wasn’t mind blowing, or knee-trembling, but it still felt pleasant.
The patterns were… OK. They were your standard mixture of pulses and waves, and nothing really stood out to me here. I definitely preferred the first (and highest) constant pattern. When it came to thrusting, the firm shaft led to a ‘fuller’ feeling, and the moderate vein detailing on the shaft provided a mild bit of texture. With a bit of porn on in the background, I was able to ride the TITUS Wireless to a fairly satisfying orgasm (not hands free) but I have other toys for that.
Clean-up and Maintenance
The TITUS Wireless is waterproof, but I would thoroughly recommend removing the batteries before cleaning. Always better to be safe. Always make sure the suction cup cap is firmly secure before going anywhere near water. Alternatively, the silicone surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The silicone is a little on the ‘draggier’ side, so it does attract dust and hair quite easily.
As with all battery operated toys, it’s always best to remove batteries in between uses. I learnt this the hard way. I popped the 2 batteries in when it arrived to check it out, and then I put it away. A couple of days later, as I was showing it to the MR, I went to turn it on and it wouldn’t work. So despite not being used, it drained the batteries, so I had to start again with a fresh pair. I hadn’t noticed any issue with the remote, but always better to be safe than sorry.
Summary
Despite what you may think, I didn’t ‘hate’ the TITUS Wireless, it just has a few issues that make it slightly frustrating. If I look at it from just a ‘dildo’ perspective, then it’s pretty much all I expect it to be. The shaft is long enough for me to provide the internal stimulation I like, it’s moderately realistic in it’s shape and it has the suction cup for ease of use. The shaft IS very firm, and to be honest, I do generally tend to prefer the softer, squishier dildos. But once you get past the firmness, then it wasn’t too much of an issue.
As a vibrator, it does leave a little bit to be desired. The vibrations are on the buzzier side, and I do prefer my deep rumbles. It’s annoying that it starts off on the highest, before going down to lowest. That just seems a little backwards to me. Although credit where credit is due, the vibrations do travel through the shaft very well, despite their weakness. So who can I recommend this too? Well, if you aren’t fussed about having super-strong vibrations, but want something a little bit more interesting than just a plain dildo – then this might be for you.
My other reservation is the price. For a BATTERY operated vibrator, it’s a tad on the expensive side, especially when you consider cheaper, rechargeable alternatives are out there… if not widely available in the UK.
